Listening Session Update 07.21.2024
The U of M cross-disciplinary listening session team met with the leadership and member representatives from The National Association of Minority Contractors, Association of Women Contractors, Minnesota Minority Goods and Services Association and the Women's Business Development Council. During the individual organization meetings, we received positive feedback, suggestions and strategies to cultivate strategic partnerships between the U of M and businesses owned by Women, Minorities, and Persons with Disabilities.
In response to the recommendations we received from these organizations, we have scheduled meetings with Medtronic, the State of Minnesota Department of Administration, and Hennepin County. We are moving into the final phase of our evaluation process and I look forward to sharing information with you as we move from analysis to action.
Sincerely,
Sharon Banks
